IP Security System

Scope Of Works

We specialize in providing complete IP Security System (IPSS) encompasses of IP CCTV, IP Door/Card Access, and IP Security Management System (IP ISMS) which are strictly adhered to the Chief Government Security Officer (CGSO) requirements governed by the Prime Minister’s Department for all ministries and government agencies.

Nowadays, IPSS requirements for health facilities projects which could be either under ICT or Electrical scope of works. However, the technology evolution and technical IPSS components have been more demanding and preferable by most of the main contractors to be designed by ICT consultant rather than Electrical consultant.

In general, our scope of works for IPSS encompass design, planning, implementing, and project management for the following requirements:

01.

Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) System

02.

Electronic Access Control System (EACS)

03.

Boom Gate System (Vehicle Access Barrier)

Brief description of IPSS requirements are summarized as follows:

01.

Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) System

The CCTV System is designed as an integrated digital surveillance platform to enhance safety, security, and situational awareness within the building and its surrounding premises. The system supports general surveillance, access monitoring, incident investigation, and operational oversight in accordance with government security requirements.

Dedicated or standalone CCTV systems will be provided for specialised rooms or spaces as required under the Medical Brief of Requirement (MBOR), Technical Brief of Requirements (TboR), or Client’s Brief Statement to cover standard building areas as well as specific areas like sleep study rooms, child monitoring areas, and other sensitive or controlled environments for any health facilities projects.

During our CCTV design, we always ensure adequate visual coverage, clear identification capability, compliance with statutory and security requirements, and readiness for future expansion.

Our CCTV design philosophies always take into the consideration of the following:

  • Design Intent and Objectives
  • Standards, Policies, and Regulatory Compliance
  • CCTV Coverage Philosophy and Camera Placement
  • System Architecture and Camera Technical Requirements
  • Video Management System (VMS) and Control Facilities
  • Recording, Storage, and Retention Requirements

Power Continuity and System Availability

02.

Electronic Access Control System (EACS)

The EACS is designed to provide a structured, secure, and auditable mechanism for controlling access to the building and its premises. The system ensures that only authenticated and authorised individuals are permitted entry into controlled areas, thereby enhancing overall physical security and operational governance.

The system will comprise an integrated combination of hardware and software components, fully provisioned with all required accessories to ensure complete functionality, reliability, and future scalability.

The access control design will support integration with existing systems where applicable and will be adaptable to evolving security requirements.

Our EACS design philosophies always take into the consideration of the following:

  • Design Intent and Objectives
  • Standards, Policies, and Regulatory Compliance
  • Access Control Philosophy and Coverage
  • System Architecture and Technical Requirements
  • Power Resilience and Safety Features
  • Door Access and Reader Requirements
  • System Management, Workstations, and Accessories
  • System Integration and Expandability

03.

Boom Gate System (Vehicle Access Barrier)

The Boom Gate System (Vehicle Access Barrier) is specified as a security access barrier to regulate and control vehicle traffic flow into the staff parking area.

The system is designed as part of the overall Electronic Access Control System architecture and is aligned with the physical security principles prescribed by Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) and the Chief Government Security Office (CGSO).

The design intent is to ensure controlled vehicular access while maintaining operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with applicable Malaysian standards and statutory requirements.

Our design philosophies always take into the consideration of the following:

  • System Requirements
  • Integration and Interfacing
  • Components and Accessories
  • Safety and Compliance
  • Installation, Testing, and Commissioning
  • Operation and Maintenance
