- Onsite IT Support: Provide proactive and reactive support to clients by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and network issues at client locations.
- Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment such as desktops, laptops, servers, printers, networking devices, and other IT infrastructure.
- System Updates and Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and updates on client systems, ensuring they are running optimally and securely. This includes operating system patches, software updates, and antivirus scans.
- Network Support: Support and troubleshoot network issues, including local area networks (LAN), wireless networks (Wi-Fi), VPN configurations, and basic network setups.
- Technical Documentation: Document issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions to create a knowledge base for future reference and to ensure continuity of service.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding IT issues, providing clear communication, updates, and guidance throughout the resolution process.
- System Monitoring: Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any irregularities. Assist in the implementation of system enhancements and performance improvements.
- Hardware Repairs and Replacements: Diagnose and repair hardware failures, including replacing faulty components such as hard drives, memory, or network cards.
- IT Infrastructure Management: Assist in setting up and maintaining IT infrastructure on client sites, including servers, workstations, and network equipment.
- Training and Support: Provide basic IT training to end-users on new systems, software applications, or technologies, and guide them on best practices for maintaining system performance and security.
- Onsite Visits: Travel to client locations as required to provide hands-on technical support and resolve complex issues that cannot be addressed remotely.
- Escalation: Escalate more complex issues to senior IT staff or management when required, following company protocols and ensuring timely resolution.
